Welcome to Year 4

Welcome to the Autumn Term in Year 4!

The team is Mrs MacDonald in 4JM, and Miss Thomas in 4RT. They are supported by Mrs Brickhill and Mrs Aitken.

The theme for this term is ‘What If…?’ Our inspirational text for this term is ‘Stanley’s Stick’ by John Hegley and Neal Layton which tells the story of Stanley’s inquisitive imagination.  We’ll be using this story and our theme throughout the curriculum to explore various ideas and investigate our world.

Please keep a close eye on this blog and our Twitter account (@GorseyY4). As ever, we will endeavour to keep you up-to-date with everything the children are learning, including visitors, educational visits and other special events, including this term’s WOW Starter!

Class Information

This year we will visit the school library every Thursday morning – please remember to have your library book on this day. We will have PE every Monday and Wednesday but please ensure you have both your indoor and outdoor PE kit in school every day, as plans may change.
