Extra - curricular
At Gorsey Bank we strive to provide opportunities that go beyond the statutory National Curriculum and Early Years Framework. We therefore offer a range of extra- curricular clubs and activities and try to respond to suggestions made by our pupils as much as possible.
There are two main types of extra-curricular club: teacher-led clubs and external clubs. The former type of club is offered free of charge by members of school staff and the latter type are paid for. Clubs take place before/after the school day and at lunch times.
Before and After School Club
Kids GB is Gorsey Bank’s own ‘Before and After’ School Club. It opens at 7.30am and closes at 18.30 (18.00 on Fridays). For more information about arranging a visit, how to book and/or to request a price list, please contact the School Office. We accept childcare vouchers.
Pupils participate in a comprehensive programme of intra and interschool sporting events and tournaments as part of their Physical Education curriculum and the wider opportunities we offer. Some events aim to provide all children with an opportunity to experience a sport they may not have tried whilst others aim to provide a more competitive experience.
